Atomic espresso maker from Cara, Ltd.

Those of you who've been in the Underground a while know we've unintentionally become the "shadow Cara, Ltd." in San Francisco.  Just because we're "here" and we loved the old store in North Beach, and the line of levers they sold (Pavoni, MARCFI, Conti, etc.) we've ended up buying a selling a LOT of their old product.  

We've been lucky enough to meet a lot of interesting characters who bought their machines from the "old man" Cara, or his son Christopher, and been regaled with lots of great stories.  (If anyone has a line on where Christopher is hiding now, let us know privately!)  

This Atomic is one of the less usual "buff" or "buckskin" colored models. 

Complete with the elusive "bowl."

We haven't done anything but clean this one up, so selling "as is" to a collector who is capable to changing the rubber portafilter seal when necessary.  (It's old but working now!)
